Beth Button

Teaching, Learning & Technolgy Specialist

Beth Button is a Teaching, Learning, and Technology Specialist at the University of Wisconsin Madison’s Food Science Department. She provides support to undergraduate education and outreach including coteaching the senior capstone project class and teaching the Dairy Product Evaluation course. Beth is a member of the International Association for Food Protection and the Institute of Food Technologists (Certified Food Scientist). She has obtained Lead Instructor certification for FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food and HACCP certification for Dairy Products in addition to being a Certified ServSafe Instructor and Examination Proctor. Prior to working at the UW, Beth was a group leader with Kraft Foods managing sensory, analytical, and information research for Kraft businesses. Her education includes a Master’s Degree from Iowa State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from UW Madison.
